my mama has picked up a new hobby, gardening, and she’s recently taken a class on all things succulent. i can’t decide what made me happier today, seeing how excited she is about her newly developed talent or taking home the beautiful arrangement she made special for me. i think it was the first but i can’t lie, i really love how the arrangement looks in the center of my patio table.
With my birthday fast approaching, friends, colleagues and even strangers can’t help but ask if I’m dreading the big 3-0. These endless inquiries have led me to reflect and try as I might I just can’t find any reason why I should cling for dear life to my 20’s.
Life is good. Hell…it’s better than good. Life is great and it’s only getting better from here.
With inspiration from a friend, I am kicking off the next decade on a high note. Stay tuned as I start paying attention to the small but very significant reasons why life's been good to me...so far.
