i swung into a little nail salon by my house to get a pedicure today. when i say little nail salon, that's exactly what i mean. no huge nail factories for me. i went to the neighborhood shop with four chairs, three nail "technicians" and a little boy.
i watched how everyone took equal responsibility for entertaining the four year old child including the other two women getting their nails done. it made me realize that aside from those rare beings who can't stand kids, who doesn't enjoy a little well-behaved child's play? after all, it's so much more entertaining than reading people magazine and learning which celebrity named their kid apple or adelaide.
