after being busy as a bee for a week and a half, it felt really good to spend some “me” time on the couch tonight. i ignored the fact that i have about a million things to do before we leave on friday and instead, bonded with my puppy, caught up on some tivo and took care of some past due business on the computer. not a bad way to spend a wednesday.
With my birthday fast approaching, friends, colleagues and even strangers can’t help but ask if I’m dreading the big 3-0. These endless inquiries have led me to reflect and try as I might I just can’t find any reason why I should cling for dear life to my 20’s.
Life is good. Hell…it’s better than good. Life is great and it’s only getting better from here.
With inspiration from a friend, I am kicking off the next decade on a high note. Stay tuned as I start paying attention to the small but very significant reasons why life's been good to me...so far.
