my mom came by to pick up lola today and we had to say goodbye for the holiday. i thought surely i'd start crying during or after her visit but i held it together.
i guess i'm becoming a big girl after all.

With my birthday fast approaching, friends, colleagues and even strangers can’t help but ask if I’m dreading the big 3-0. These endless inquiries have led me to reflect and try as I might I just can’t find any reason why I should cling for dear life to my 20’s.
Life is good. Hell…it’s better than good. Life is great and it’s only getting better from here.
